Dr Ron Smith

President, South Union Conference, NAD

As president of the Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Dr. Ron Smith leads the work of more than 250,000 church members, pastors, educators, and evangelists. He has served in the Seventh-day Adventist ministry for 40 years, including as senior pastor of Berean Church in Los Angeles, California, and Ephesus Church in Harlem, New York.

Pastor Smith is also a registered clinical psychologist and marital and family therapist. He earned his PhD in Psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, a DM from Colgate Rochester Divinity School, and MDiv from Andrews University Theological Seminary, and a BA from Oakwood University.

This faithful minister of the Gospel presents the Word of God with passion and power and is consistently committed to making and nurturing disciples for Jesus Christ.

Pastor J. Daniel Ebenezer Sundararaj

Associate Director, Sabbath School and Personal Ministries, General Conference

Pastor Jaipaul D. E. Sundararaj was born and educated in India and later served as a Bible instructor, pastor, and Personal Ministries Director in the United Kingdom. In his teenage journey to Jesus and the Adventist faith, he learned the power of personal labor in soul-winning. As a result, Jaipaul witnessed true success in ministry by investing in and training every member to become disciple-makers.

Pastor Sundararaj has served the Northern England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists since 2022. While serving as the conference’s Personal Ministries and Evangelism director, his focus has been discipleship ministry, the nurturing, equipping, and empowering of individuals for Christian leadership. Previously, he has served as a pastor, area ministerial field secretary, and Bible teacher at both secondary and university levels. Pastor Jaipaul is studying for a Master of Science in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Salford University.

Pastor Robert Gamboa

Director, Sidewalk Evangelism, General Conference

Pastor RJ Gamboa is a passionate evangelist, humanitarian, and advocate for vulnerable children. His mission is to provide hope, support, and a haven for those in need, guiding them from pain and suffering to a future of growth, purpose, and restoration.

As a dedicated soul-winner and evangelist, RJ sees sharing the gospel as a vital mission. His heart for evangelism has led him to establish and direct impactful initiatives that reach people worldwide. He is Director of Sidewalk Evangelism (an initiative of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists) – An international movement that brings the gospel directly to communities, leading to countless transformed lives. Evangelist Gamboa is also the Founder of Go Beyond – A global podcast dedicated to spreading truth, faith, and identity restoration; and Founder of Jireh Outpost (501c3) – A nonprofit organisation that provides education, mentorship, and essential support to defenseless and vulnerable children and women.
