Message from the Administrators
Our thoughts are also solemn as we continue to rise from the recent visitation of Hurricane Melissa. Amid this disaster, we have been assured that “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Many of our churches and homes have suffered losses, but here you are, resilient and hopeful. We salute our members and associates on the island and in the diaspora for responding so briskly to calls for relief and restoration resources. The rebuilding continues.
Thanks to all who worked prayerfully and fervently this year in advancing our shared mission. By God’s enabling and the integral role of our pastors, Bible counsellors and lay evangelists, we have been blessed with some 2,500 new believers, giving us the lead in evangelism in the Jamaica Union Conference for 2025. Praise the Lord!
This camp meeting and Lay Institute is both a spiritual milestone and a divine opportunity to anchor afresh our love relationship with Jesus. While the Lay Institute is here to empower and charge you, provide training for evangelism, and equip you to be ready for the challenges of 2026, let this occasion also be a powerful and spirit-filled gathering, by each person individually allowing the life-transforming influence of the Holy Spirit. Let us reflect on God’s goodness, trust Him to restore us, praise Him for the progress made, and be empowered anew to carry the gospel mission forward with even greater passion and purpose.
May the Spirit of God fill every session and every heart. Advance the Mission: Quickly come, Lord Jesus!
In Christ’s service,
CJC Administrators

Message from the Director of Sabbath School and Personal Ministries
I am delighted to report that with the collaborative efforts of our Pastors, Lay Preachers, Bible Counsellors and other passionate disciples over 2,500 precious souls were garnered for Christ. These dedicated workers answered the Gospel Commission, went about doing exploits for the Lord and demonstrated His mighty power to save. Hence, I must register my profound gratitude to God for His leading and for the many victories that were won.
It is my privilege, and I am truly grateful and humbled that God that has allowed me to offer leadership in this area of work.
As a Conference, the mission and vision remain undiluted and clear in our minds. We remain committed to preaching the everlasting gospel and to making disciples for Jesus Christ. We are assured continually that our Heavenly Father stands ready to equip and use in a meaningful manner those who are willing and make themselves available to be used by Him.
It is against this background that we crave your assistance while we endeavour to be empowered and to recommit ourselves in partnering with Christ under the theme, “I WILL GO: REFLECTING GOD’S GOODNESS, ADVANCING THE MISSION.” Let us all strive by God’s grace in our hearts, that through the Sabbath School, Personal Ministries, Men’s Ministries and all departments, every member will participate in this important mission. I am confident that the programme that has been planned this year is specifically geared towards preparing us for more meaningful and committed service.
Permit me to express sincere appreciation to our Pastors, Federation Officers, Sabbath School and Personal Ministries Leaders, Lay Preachers, Bible Counsellors and members for their loyalty and resolute support in the mission of Christ.
I wish you all a wonderful encampment. May we all be spiritually refreshed and may this be a time of great reflection and future contemplation for the Cause of God.
